About this story
Five years in hiding
After Order 66, Cal Kestis ends up on Bracca, scrapping decommissioned starships and hiding his Jedi past. He was only a Padawan when the clones turned on his master, Jaro Tapal, so survival is bound up with traumatic memories for him. Day-to-day labor lets him stay unnoticed until saving another person forces him to use the Force. Cal has to choose between familiar safety and an act that will get him recognized. The opening of the game makes Jedi ethics concrete: helping someone else carries a direct personal cost.
A crew, ruins and the hunt for a holocron
Cere Junda and the pilot Greez rescue Cal aboard the Stinger Mantis and offer him a goal bigger than escape. They are looking for a holocron that holds information about Force-sensitive children, to keep it out of the hands of the Inquisitorius. BD-1 helps explore sites left behind by the ancient Zeffo, and Cal's ability to sense the past of objects turns the ruins into personal testimony. Zeffo, Kashyyyk and Dathomir each represent a different way of confronting violence and loss. Over time the hero gains not just allies for an operation but people he can talk to about what he has been through.
What rebuilding the Order really means
On the surface the mission looks like a search for a valuable artifact, but it raises a harder question: do the survivors have the right to draw children into a cause that will make them targets of Imperial persecution? Cal regains his skills step by step, returning to his memories and learning to trust his own ability to act. It is the story of a young man who has to grow up without the institution that was meant to support him. On this route, Fallen Order matters as the start of the journey for Cal and his crew; Survivor picks up exactly these relationships and the consequences of the decisions made here.
Route context
Under Imperial Rule
The new regime inherits the Republic's army and institutions but gradually changes the rules of everyday life. Clones look for a place after the war, Jedi hide their past, and smugglers work between the interests of the syndicates and the Empire. Resistance has no single center yet. Its early forms grow out of concrete needs: helping a fugitive, protecting a child, guiding the persecuted to safety or refusing to carry out a criminal order.

The Second Sister turns out to be Trilla, Cere's former apprentice. Her story shows how the Empire uses captivity, fear and broken trust to turn victims of persecution into hunters. After recovering the holocron, Cal destroys it, refusing to decide the future of children he has never met. The crew chooses to keep fighting, but not to rebuild the Order in a way that would immediately put others in danger.
